#itsacuteworld #Repost @glennfosterphotography with @get_repost ・・・ Absolutely stoked! I captured probably my favourite ever photo this morning, a shot of this ultra rare comet called Neowise over Stonehenge. . As city light pollution makes it harder to see I decided to take a 2hr drive out from Croydon to Sailsbury, I set my gear up just off of the A303 with Stonehenge in the foreground and waited about three hours for the comet to get near the centre of the frame and by this time the warm sunrise colours had started to bleed up from the horizon creating this amazing red to blue gradient. (Don’t let the warm colours fool you - it was feckin freezing). . If you don’t see Comet Neowise in the next few days you’ll have to wait another 6800 years!! So you better get out there! You’ll see it in the uk between 11pm and 4am not far from the horizon in a northeasterly direction. . I love where photography has taken me over the years and feel extremely lucky to be able to see and capture views like this💫 . Technical bit for the camera geeks like me... This is a focus stacked image, foreground was a 25 second exposure at f3.5 iso 400 and the sky was a 6 second exposure at f2.8 iso 5000 . . . . . . . . . #Neowise #neowisecomet #stonehenge #astrophotography #comet #nightphotography #instagood #neowise2020 #neowisec2020f3 #natgeoyourshot #astronomypictureoftheday #picoftheday

This post from @glennfosterphotography might be one of the best photographs we have seen on instagram for a while. It is a spectacular capture of the NEOWISE Comet  taken from Stonehenge;  the ruins serve as the perfect background for this “one in a lifetime” event, which makes this picture even more impresive.

Glenn made it more special using the caption to describe how he waited all night long, outside in the cold, to make it until the exact moment when the comet was visible.
NEOWISE was easy to spot on the night skies around the world between July and August; and we feel this was yet, another reminder of how beautiful our entire world is.

We can only thank Glenn for this beautiful gift, and for so many other great pics he’s posted. Go follow him on Insta right now and show him some love with your likes to encorage him to keep the great photos coming to remind us that we live in a CUTE WORLD!!
